To participate in Summer OTAs in July and/or to tryout Aug. 12th, you must
1. Register with LP Soccer
2. Register with LPHS Athletics
3. Fill out and turn in all paperwork
Your IHSA "pre-examination participation" form must be signed by a qualified healthcare provider and emailed to Coach Ruttenberg at [email protected] and the Athletic Director Daniel Ostrozovich at [email protected] before you can play.

Timeline
- Voluntary Summer OTAs (Organized Team Activity) begin Monday 7/8 and run through Friday 8/2 (M-F) 7am-9:30am on our Diversey Turf Field. 141 West Diversey PKWY.
- Tryouts and the official start of the season is 8/12. 3pm-6pm. Tryouts last a week or longer, fyi. Attendance is MANDATORY.
- Varsity Schedule is on MaxPreps. First game is 8/26.

LPHS Boys Soccer is first and foremost a FAMILY. Our family embraces the academic mission of Lincoln Park High School, and we view our Boys Soccer program as an extension of that mission. Our players strive to become the best soccer players they can be, learning lessons about accountability, responsibility, attention to detail, focus, commitment and respect that will guide them on the pitch, in the classroom and in real life.
LPHS has three Boys Soccer teams: Varsity, Junior Varsity and Freshman/Sophomore. Commitment is key: no unexcused absences from practice or games. Miss a practice without a legitimate conflict, you don't play in the next game. Playing time will be allocated based not solely on talent. As important are accountability, responsibility, attention to detail, focus, commitment and respect.
