Counseling Department's College Day event on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, Small Gym MB.
During lunch periods (4th-8th), students that have not applied to college will be invited to talk to a college representative and complete an application for enrollment at a Chicagoland college.
Alternatively, students will also have the opportunity to meet representatives and apply for enrollment in an alternative postsecondary program.

Middle March
The annual celebration of student talent and work, Middle March, will be March 17 from 3:30 - 6:00. Events will be taking place in both the Main and Freshman buildings.

Progress reports are being mailed this week along with outstanding fee letters. Check your mail for a letter from LP.

BUDGET CUTS IMPACT SOPHOMORE SPORTS
Budgetary conditions have prompted the Chicago Public Schools to halt all spring sophomore sports. Only varsity and freshman teams are allowed to practice according to a memo sent to school athletic directors.

LPHS joins the Climate Cycle
Lincoln Park High School (LPHS) is answering the call to "go green" by competing in the solar panels installation contest sponsored by Climate Cycle. In addition to developing ecologically important curriculum, we have set a fundraising goal of $5,000 to enable our students to participate in Climate Cycle’s spring bike-a-thon.
