GREETINGS LP STUDENTS AND FAMILIES!!🦁
 
We are looking forward to a wonderful new school year and your return on Tuesday, September 4, 2018.  As you make your final preparations for the beginning of a new school year,  we would like to share some important information to help make the process as smooth as possible. 
 
Bell schedule: Lincoln Park students will attend classes either 1st period - 8th period or 2nd period - 9th period.  1st period begins at 7:55am and 2nd period begins at 8:50am.  Check your class schedule to confirm your start time. 
 
Breakfast: students will be able to enter the main building for breakfast starting at 7:15am. 
 
Building entry:  CPS requires that all visitors adhere to screening & safety checks upon entry to school buildings. 
 
  • ALL Lincoln Park students and visitors must adhere to the safety and security checks upon entry of either building (main or freshmen). 
  • ALL visitors must have a valid photo id upon entry to either building.  A visitor's pass with photo will be presented and must be worn throughout your visit to LPHS. 
 
Class schedules:  10th, 11th, and 12th grade students will be able to pick up a copy of their class schedules in the auditorium starting at 7:00am.  Do enter the main building and see security to be directed to the auditorium.  9th grade students should enter the Freshmen building for a copy of their class schedules. 
 
Closed campus: Lincoln Park HS is a closed campus.  Students are not allowed to leave campus for any reason unless a parent/guardian completes an "Early Dismissal" request in the main office.  Seniors (only)  are permitted to leave campus during their scheduled lunch periods. 
 
Family Income Information Form (formerly the lunch application)ALL LPHS families are needed to complete the income information form regardless of income status or participation in food/nutrition programs.  This form/information provides much needed funds for Lincoln Park High School.  Please complete both pages of the income information form, sign and return to Lincoln Park HS main office by Friday, September 7th.    SEE FORM ATTACHED. 
 
LP photo ID card: do have your school id on and displayed as you enter the building.  Any student who did not attend Quickstart and needs a 2018-19 school ID should see Ms. Delgado (main building room 114L).  Students' school id cards are also their Ventra bus card and needed to get reduced fairs on CTA. 
 
LPHS School fees:  school fees can be paid online via the ePay Illinois payment system.  CLICK HERE to pay your school activity fee ($325) and any elective class fees.  
 
Medical forms: students who need to turn in medical/dental / physical forms should do so in the main office.  Be sure to make a copy for your own records as well as a copy for your coach if you are a student athlete. 

Parking Lot: the LPHS parking lot is for the use of teachers and staff; students are not allowed to park in the lot for any reason. 
  • Please do not use the parking lot to drop off students or sit with students until their class time.  Parking spaces are limited and needed for staff of LPHS. 
    • Violators are subject to towing.  
  • Staff, be sure to display your LPHS staff decal at all times to prevent towing. 
  • If you are visiting LP for business do see the main office for a temp parking pass.
