Policies and Procedures
The Lincoln Park Girls Water Polo Team has the following Policy's and Procedures that all members must adhere to in order to maintain the privilege of representing Lincoln Park High School as members of the team.
1. Be on time and be honest. Be where you are supposed to be when you are supposed to be there. Be honest with your teammates and coaches. In short, do what you are supposed to do.
2. You must contact Coach Plewa if you are going to be absent. Contacting her does not excuse your absence however. Being absent will result in a loss of playing time. Being absent and failing to contact Coach Plewa will result in a one game suspension. Coach Plewa can be contacted at: [email protected]
3. It is the policy of the water polo program that all players must currently be passing all of their classes. If a student has an F in any of his classes, she will not travel with the team for a game. Likewise, she will not be permitted to attend home games. She will continue to practice. Grade checks will run on Monday morning. Any ineligible student will be ineligible for the remainder of the week.
4. Players are expected to attend classes.
5. Players are expected to treat all school personal with respect. Disciplinary issues will be handled on a case by case basis and may result in removal from the team.
6. Players are expected to represent Lincoln Park High School with class and dignity always and especially on all road trips. This includes behavior on the bus as well as in the opposing school buildings.
7. Players understand that above all, we are here for our team. They should support each other and encourage each other both inside and outside of the pool.
