Bio

Experience and Education
I earned a bachelors of science in general engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned a masters in mechanical and aerospace engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. I worked for twelve years in the capital equipment industry as a design, project, and sales engineer. An opportunity for a career change presented itself and I studied to become a physics teacher through the Chicago Teaching Fellows program and National-Louis University.

What do you do / teach here at LPHS? Other involvement?
I have been teaching physics (H, HH, and AP) at LPHS quite a while now (15+ years). Along with teaching physics, I'm the head varsity boys' golf and the lead mentor for our FIRST FTC robotics team, LP Roarbotics.

Brief Personal Statement
I enjoy reading, cooking, big wave surfing, running away from zombies, and playing golf when I'm not spending time with my wife and two daughters and two dogs.
