Welcome to my page

Hello, my name is Pamela Gikas-Gajic, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as a Diverse Learning Instructor, the Diverse Learning Department Lead, and the Home/Hospital Coordinator at Lincoln Park High School (LPHS). I have been a part of the LPHS community since 2008, and I am passionate about working with diverse learners.

In addition to providing support during transitions, including post-secondary education, employment, and independent living, I am dedicated to fostering academic success and the development of essential executive functioning skills. I am committed to helping students enhance their organization, time management, planning, and study skills, empowering them to excel in their educational journey. As an educator, I also play a vital role in supporting the Diverse Learning Department to ensure the provision of high-quality services and accommodations for students with diverse needs.

With my educational background, I offer a wealth of knowledge and expertise. I have earned a Master of Science in Special Education (LBSI and LBSII: Curriculum Adaptation) from Northeastern Illinois University (2012) and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education (2013).  I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education History from DePaul University (2007), which provides me with a deep understanding and passion for this subject.

I am truly excited about the opportunity to collaborate with you and work together towards achieving your child's educational goals.
