Welcome

Lincoln Park High School is both a neighborhood school with attendance boundaries and a high school with three magnet programs. LPHS brings together students from over 150 elementary schools. Just about every ethnic group is represented in the student body. It is a school that is diverse academically, ethnically and socioeconomically–a slice of the real world.

Lincoln Park High School develops inquiring, open-minded, and caring young people who are motivated to succeed. Guided by the International Baccalaureate®  (IB) approach, our inquiry-based curriculum encourages collaboration and real-world connections. Students drive their own learning, building the confidence, empathy, and knowledge to excel in college and beyond.

Students are friendly and open-minded with a lot of positive energy. There is a feeling of big city excitement. Whatever level or program our students come in as, they are encouraged to pursue a rigorous program.

LPHS offers the following magnet programs:

  • Performing Arts
  • Visual Arts
  • Advanced College Prep (formerly Double Honors)
  • International Baccalaureate (IB)
