LPHS students’ project(s) have been selected to participate at the National History Day National Contest! Of over 400 projects competing at Illinois History Day, only two from each category were selected to advance to the National Contest. Lincoln Park High School has TWO projects competing this year.
This is a wonderful accomplishment to celebrate with our school community!

Lincoln Park High School’s AP US history students, guided by teachers Matt Francolino, Sandra Koehler and Carolyn Latshaw are honored to participate in the Chicago Metro History Fair this school year. Despite the challenges of remote learning, this curriculum team and their students advanced 28 student projects to the Chicago Regional Competition. 25 of those projects, from LP, are advancing to the City competition this week! Join your LPHS community in a virtual evening celebrating Lincoln Park High School! We have a fun night planned with games, socializing, an appearance by the school's fantastic chamber choir, and a paddle raise in support of our students. Each ticket grants you the zoom link for the event. There is an option to choose either wine tasting (capped at 26 tickets) or beer tasting, led by professionals who know their stuff. Details on how to separately purchase the right beer or wine will be sent by e-mail. Special food options also available to support the school. We can't wait to celebrate LPHS with you all! Don't delay, as ticket prices go up on February 14th and end on February 21st.
