LSC Overview

The core purpose of the Lincoln Park High School Local School Council is to improve student achievement and student experience. To fulfill this purpose, the Council holds three main responsibilities:
  1. School Improvement – Support and monitor the school’s improvement plan (called the CIWP - Continuous Improvement Work Plan)
  2. School Spending – Approve spending of school funds and resources
  3. Principal Evaluation – Evaluate and select the principal

The LSC is comprised of 15 members: the school principal, six parents, two community members, two teachers, one non-teaching staff, and three students. The LSC is committed to continuing the legacy of excellence and innovation at Lincoln Park High School since its founding 149 years ago in 1875. An early pioneer of the International Baccalaureate or "IB" philosophy and curriculum which emerged a century later, Lincoln Park is now an IB World School where every student learns through IB curriculum.

Meeting Dates for 2025-26 
 
All LSC meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month in Room 103 at 4:00 pm. LSC meetings are open to the public and we welcome your attendance and engagement. Meeting dates for this school year are as follows:
