Are you a part of the Lincoln Park community and want to support it?
Lincoln Park High School's FIRST Tech Challenge robotics program, known as LP ROARbotics, has made strides since it's start in 2020. What began as a modest initiative spearheaded by a LP student and their parent has evolved into a thriving entity, transcending its humble beginnings with a rudimentary robot. Today, it stands as one of the foremost robotics programs in Chicago, a testament to the dedication and hard work of its members. LP ROARbotics has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence and innovation. As we aim to continue this successful trajectory, we invite your support to help us pursue our goals and achieve future accomplishments.

More than robots!
As part of our competitive season each year, the team creates a 15-page document that showcases everything we've accomplished throughout the season. This document, along with a verbal presentation to a panel of judges, is a key component of the FIRST FTC competition—and it plays a major role in determining many of the awards. Winning isn’t just about how well the robot performs! The document highlights all aspects of our team's work, including our goals, development process, outreach efforts, and overall logistics. It also details our robot’s design, the engineering behind it, programming, competition performance, and strategic planning. If you'd like to check it out, feel free to use the link below!
